Storecool can be used in crops stored up to 5.7m, using 1.1kw fans with a 150mm inlet or outlet. Competitively priced the additional benefits of the Storecool system do not come at a cost to the user. The Concept
Storecool works like a traditional pedestal with a perforated duct in the grain and extension pipes connecting to the fan, positioned at the top of the stack. Storecool improves airflow to the fan by using 8 large apertures at the very base of the unit. By positioning the air inlet apertures at the very bottom of the base air distribution is improved, particularly in shallow stores.
The Base
The 1m wide base facilitates improved stability during filling. The rotationally moulded, plastic base features an internal gutter which catches moisture caused by condensation within the duct, this can help reduce crop spoilage immediately around the unit. Grain does not ingress inside the base unit and no additional filter is required when used in OSR. The bases nest on top of each other so when not in use stack neatly away.
The Top Pipe
Storecool uses a very robust plastic top pipe with a 5mm wall thickness, this has proven to be the strongest top pipe on the market for all pedestal types. Top pipes do not bend under the pressure of the grain during filling and do not get damaged and difficult to fit together when assembling.
